OUR MISSION & VISION

Immigrating to Canada in 2018 was the most transformative milestone in my life, profoundly reshaping all aspect including my career.

In my home country, Iran, I held a PhD in public law and had over 10 years of experience in teaching, research, and facilitation within the human rights field in Universities and UNESCO Chair for Peace, Democracy & Human Rights. I had hoped to secure a job in a similar field in Canada, but things didn’t go as planned.

During my first year here, I felt very confused and lost. I struggled to understand and navigate this unfamiliar world, and finding my place here seemed impossible.

At some point, I discovered a profound desire for change buried deep within me. I didn’t want to be the same person, living the same life. I wanted to rewrite the narrative of my life, exploring new horizons along the way. Thus began a transformative journey of self-discovery and growth. Soon, I found myself captivated by the realm of personal and professional development, prompting me to embark on a new career path in this field.

I started by studying “Career Development Practice”, and then continued my education with courses in coaching, psychology, and business. By my third year, I graduated and secured my first job quickly, alongside registering my own business.

I founded Apex Academy to inspire and empower newcomers to discover their path to personal and professional development. We stand alongside immigrants throughout their journey, helping them overcome barriers and progress towards a successful and meaningful life.

Today, as I reflect on the culmination of this transformative journey, I am filled with a profound sense of fulfillment and now it is my dream to share this experience with all immigrants.
